Before you appoint a contractor
How do you price a project?
We measure the actual work from drawings and produce an itemised bill of quantities — excavation, foundation, structure, masonry, roofing, services and finishes each shown separately. You can see what every line costs and compare it properly against other quotations, rather than judging a single lump sum.
Do you work outside Nairobi?
Yes. We take on projects across Kenya and travel for site visits. For developments outside Nairobi we plan materials logistics and site supervision into the programme from the start, because that is usually where remote projects lose time and money.
Can you work with our own architect or consultant?
Gladly. We are used to building to drawings prepared by others, and to raising buildability and cost queries during the tendering stage rather than discovering them on site. If you do not yet have drawings, we can point you to professionals we have worked with before.
How are payments structured?
Against completed work stages set out in the contract — not large upfront lumps. Each stage is measured and certified before the next payment falls due, so your money always sits behind work that already exists on site.
Do you handle approvals?
We can guide you through the county approval process and coordinate with the professionals who submit on your behalf. We are also happy to work with a project manager you have appointed.
